REACH OUT AND READ POSTERS
The growth of my poster entry for the reach out and read poster for the Kansas City AIGA chapter is shown from top to bottom. Ideas from the bottom most post will be included with the illustrated version… Transitioning from book, book, book, bottle, book to— bottle, bottle, bottle, book, bottle. Although I find the iteration with the minimal photograph of a bottle with the page of a book and milk inside of it is conceptually strong, it wouldn’t be able to be as natrual with the target audience of a mother. She could find this version too demanding and scary because of its simplicity and straight forward composition. The bottom-most iteration has a natural environment (which needs to become more child-like) and will benefit with a overall reduction of information when changed to bottle, bottle, bottle, book, bottle. Wish me luck!
